ASHRAE Technology Awards
Below is a link to fill out a Chapter Technology Award Submission. The project should be occupied on or before September 1st, 2022. Provide a system schematic/diagram not larger than 11” x 17” in size (limited text).

Deadline for Submissions: April 14, 2023
Judging Criterion: Brief narrative of up to 4 pages (font size 12, double-spaced, 1-inch margins, 8.5x11 inch paper). The narrative should include the gross and net building areas applicable to the project, a description of the major building areas (i.e.,operating rooms, laboratories, computer rooms, industrial processes, offices, warehouses) and a brief discussion regarding the following five criteria (if a criterion is not applicable, state accordingly):
• Energy Efficiency (15 Points)
• Indoor Air Quality (15 Points)
• Innovation (15 Points)
• Operation & Maintenance (15 Points)
• Cost Effectiveness (15 Points)
• Environmental Impact (15 Points)
• Quality of Presentation (15 Points)
One year of operational data is not required for Regional submissions, but will be required for entrance to Society.
To assist in the preparation of a Society-level Technology Award, the following sample entries are provided for reference. Each of these entries was awarded a First Place Technology Award in their respective category. Please note – each project is unique and these entries are provided as a general reference only.
